Our Story

Why Kegava exists.

The honest version.

"We kept watching businesses buy the wrong tools for the right reasons."

The pattern we noticed

Before Kegava, our team worked inside small and mid-size businesses across different industries. We saw the same situation repeat. A business owner, frustrated by disorganization, would invest in a popular project management platform. The onboarding would take weeks. The team would use it inconsistently. Within three months, the old habits were back.

The tools were not bad. The fit was wrong. Enterprise software built for teams of fifty does not behave well in a team of six. The feature count that impresses in a demo becomes the complexity that kills adoption in practice.

We also noticed something else. The businesses that ran well digitally did not necessarily use the most sophisticated tools. They had clear processes. They had decided, deliberately, what belonged where. The tool was almost secondary.

What we believe

Lightweight wins

A simple system used consistently outperforms a sophisticated one used occasionally. We design for the minimum viable structure that solves the actual problem.

Teams drive adoption

Systems fail when they are imposed. We involve the people who will use the workflow in designing it. That involvement is not a nicety. It is the mechanism of success.

Clarity before tools

Before recommending any software, we want to understand your processes clearly. A tool chosen without that understanding will solve the wrong problem elegantly.

Independence is the goal

We build systems you own and can maintain. Our success metric is that you do not need us after delivery. That is what we optimize for.

Who we are

Kegava is a small studio based in Plzeň, Czech Republic. Our team combines backgrounds in operations management, product design, and business process consulting.

We work with small businesses because that is where operational improvements have the most direct impact. A better system in a ten-person company changes how every person works every day. That kind of leverage keeps us motivated.

We are selective about the projects we take on. Not because we want to seem exclusive, but because thorough work requires focus. We would rather do fewer engagements well than many engagements quickly.
